1.) MISSIONS… With the school year ending, kids don't have access to the meal(s) they ordinarily get during their school day, which can cause a big gap in nutrition for some kids. ICA has a "Kids' Summer Market" area that stocks kid-friendly items that parents can pick up during their ICA shopping trips for youngsters to grab and eat or make easily by themselves. Think individual soups and hot dishes, mac n cheese, PB&Js, cheese & crax, healthy packaged snacks--be creative! And don't forget that, as you start visiting farmers' markets and/or your own gardens start producing, ICA stocks fresh produce for clients too. So think about donating some of your  bumper crops you can take produce directly to the K-Tel location of ICA or contact Marty Swain for pickup (or more information)!
