1. MISSIONS: SCHOOL SUPPLIES: As part of our community outreach, let's once again support local kids who could use a hand in preparing for the school year with confidence and excitement by collecting school supplies for  Resource West's Back to School program. The organization supports families in the West Metro area through collaborative programs and connections to resources as they move toward greater stability. There will be a box in the breezeway beginning Sunday for your donations. A full list of suggested items is on the box and will be listed on our website. Thank you!

ICA SUMMER NEEDS: Please remember the many school-aged kids in our area who in the summer don't have access to the regular meals at school and may need some extra food support in the next couple of months.  All donations are welcome of course, but specific ICA needs currently are Juice, Wheat crackers, Peanut butter, Jelly, Cereal, and any other kid-friendly foods you favor. Also needed are Toilet paper, Paper towels, and Hand soap. Thank you!

3.) POOL PARTY!… Church kids/youth and their families are invited to a pool party and supper at Marty Swain's home on Sunday, August 17, 3-6 p.m. Each family, if it's convenient, is asked to bring a snack, side dish or dessert to share (Marty will provide a main dish, beverages, and plates/utensils). Please rsvp to the church office or directly to Marty (mheiberg@umn.edu; 952-380-8128). Let's hoe the rain has taken a rest by then!
