Faith Bible Study

Pastor Lindy Purdy of Wayzata Community Church invites all who are interested to join them for an in-depth study and lively discussion of Biblical texts. All are welcome.

This event is paused for the summer but check back in the fall and join our friends at Wayzata Community Church in the Colonnade on Thursdays from 10-11am.

Threads of Love Quilters

For over 15 years, our talented “fabric artists” have created and donated nearly 300 quilts to many recipients including the Crisis Nursery, People Serving People, and various women’s shelters.

We welcome all levels of experience at our weekly “sewing bees,” which combine service and fellowship.

Join us Mondays at the church from 10am-3pm.

Lundsten Circle

The Lundsten Circle welcomes all women of the church for a BYO lunch meeting on alternating months at the church. Following dessert provided by a hostess, the group enjoys a program on topics from travelogues, to family histories and treasured objects, to Bible-related topics.

Join us alternating months at the church. Check the event calendar for details. Three times a year the group enjoys lunch at a local restaurant.

Church Grounds crew

When there’s work to be done around the building and grounds, we have a congregation that digs right in! Whether it’s indoor maintenance or outside cleanup, everyone participates from young to old.

Many hands make light word and good fellowship.

Good Stuff Sale

For years, our church held an annual rummage sale, but we’ve recently replaced that with a more “tailored” Good Stuff Sale that’s open the day of Excelsior’s Apple Day celebration in the Fall.

Check back as more details will be shared closer to the event.

Harvest Dinner

Each fall, on a Saturday evening, congregants and their guests come together for our Harvest Dinner. A wonderful home-cooked meal is prepared by our own star chef, Ross Rogney, and our youth help serve. The evening begins with appetizers and mingling during a Silent Auction featuring items such as home-baked Christmas cookies delivered to your door, hand-knit hats and scarves, original paintings, and household items.

It’s an evening of fun, fabulous finds, and frivolity!

Check back as more details will be shared closer to the event.
